2022 Tour Fast Facts
We completed 6 tours this year and traveled all over Italy! We traveled to 11 regions (out of 20) in Italy including Le Marche, Umbria, Tuscany, Sardinia, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, and Veneto!
We had friends and strangers (who quickly became friends!) from all over the US travel with us.
We had a total of 115 travelers on all our tours representing 15 states including Texas, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, South Carolina, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Illinois, Virginia, Nevada, and Wyoming.
We also had people of all ages on our tours ranging from 20-83 years old.
Not including air travel, we traveled at least 3782km (2350 miles) this year! A BIG thanks to Steve, our private coach driver, who gets us to all these amazing places safely!
Of course! All the food and wine. Because we curate culinary tours, it is our top priority to take our travelers to what we believe are some of the top, off-the-beaten-path restuarants and wineries. We curate each meal to highlight the specialties of the region we are in. We have been invited to a butchers home to take part in a porchetta feast in Le Marche, we had pasta topped with crusco (a dried and fried red pepper) in Basilicata, and tried real Balsamic Vinegar from Modena paired perfectly with little Parmigiano Reggiano cookies.
The number of resturants we visited: 88!
The number of wineries we visited: 14!
We wanted to include the number of bottles of wine we consumed, but this ended up being too daunting of a task. A LOT is the answer!
Where we stayed during our travels
We stayed in a variety of different types of hotels: boutique hotels, agriturismi, private villas, etc! All of the marked places were our "home base" while we traveled.
